Steve Boespflug President
Steve's marketing research career started in 1991 when he was a graduate student intern working at Smarte Carte, the well known luggage cart service available at major airports. Working closely with Smarte Carte's CEO (and chief innovator), Steve implemented a market research program which ultimately supported the design and launch of several innovations.
In 1993, Steve co-founded InfoTek Research Group, a full service marketing research company. As Vice President, Steve had many responsibilities including designing and managing research studies, overseeing company operations and developing new business. In January 2009, Steve left InfoTek and formed Voice Count International to focus on providing clients with the highest possible quality and value in our industry. Steve will always ensure Voice Count uses the latest methods and technologies to achieve the most efficient and reliable processes for designing and managing research.
Steve has worked directly with more than 100 client companies, including Hewlett-Packard, 3M, Intel, Microsoft, Fleishman Hillard Advertising, Trend Micro, Accenture, Imation, Lexmark, United Airlines and Oregon State Lottery.
The top areas of Steve’s expertise involve both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. He uses a wide variety of data collection methodologies and analytics in managing new product development studies, segmentation, feature/needs assessment, concept/prototype testing, Web-based data collection, branding, positioning, awareness and satisfaction tracking.
Steve received his BBA from the University of North Dakota, concentrating in Marketing Management. He entered the field of high technology in 1987 on the client side as a Sales Manager, then Product Manager for ComputerLand, the largest computer franchise in the country at the time. Steve went on to complete his MBA, concentrating in marketing management, in 1991 at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, one of the top business schools in the nation. He graduated in the top five percent of his class, and was co-founder of the Carlson School's MBA Association Marketing Club. Steve is a long-time member of the AMA and MRA, and has lectured at local universities on fundamentals as well as advanced applications of research.
On the personal side, Steve enjoys coaching baseball, football and basketball for his two sons' (ages 9 and 10) teams throughout the year, and his favorite "me-time" activities are golfing, wakeboarding and basketball.
Bob Boespflug Vice President and Director of Operations
Bob has served as a consultant to the public (Fortune 1000) and private sector since 1985. He started his career as a tax accountant with Arthur Anderson & Company (Minneapolis) and went on to work in the investment banking industry in New York City and Los Angeles. His core competencies primarily revolve around business strategy, corporate formation issues and implementation of cutting-edge marketing and management techniques in seeking competitive advantage. Bob has broad experience in a variety of industries and has worked with businesses and individuals all over the world. Bob also has significant experience in private equity underwriting and business incubation.
Bob attended the University of North Dakota, where he matriculated with a BBA in Accounting. He went on to Cornell University, where he received his MBA, concentrating in strategy consulting, from the Johnson Graduate School of Management. He served as an assistant instructor teaching MBA I students corporate strategy and was co-founder of the Cornell Real Estate Club. He also holds a MBA, concentrating in international finance, from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium).
Bob is a former Registered Principal and Registered Investment Advisor. He has passed the licensing and experience requirements for series 24 (Registered Principal), series 7, series 66 and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He enjoys public speaking and has delivered over 800 presentations on a variety of management topics to audiences all over the United States and Europe.
Bob is the proud father of two young daughters, and in addition to enjoying "Daddy" time, his favorite hobbies include golfing, working out and reading.
